Hello. I am David Morgan and I represent Team Fox. Team Fox is the Michael J. Fox Foundation's (MJFF)* grassroots community fundraising program. Its members include thousands of people worldwide, like me, generate funds and awareness for Parkinson's disease research. Did you know that Five million people worldwide are living with Parkinson's disease? Of that number, 1,500,000 are in the United States. An additional 60,000 will be diagnosed this year alone. Parkinson's disease is a chronic, degenerative neurological disorder whose symptoms typically progress from a mild tremor to complete physicql incapsitation. There is no known cure for Parkinson's disease. But through your support of Team Fox, you can help change this.
Raising awareness and research funding is near and dear to me. Ever since I was diagnosed with Parkinson's 10 years ago. I lead a full and active life, thanks to past and present research. Yet, we need the support of many in order to find a cure, which researchers are so very close to achieving.
I am pleased to announce an event called "His Flight--Our Fight." You can enjoy a delicious southern style barbecue dinner while sitting in the shadow of a Saturn V moon rocket and listen to the following speakers:
Keynote Speaker -- Colonel Michael Richard (Rich) Clifford, U. S. Army (retired), who flew his third and last Shuttle Mission ywo years after being diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. He will be available for autographs and photo opportunities throughout the program.
And, speakers representing:
The Michael J. Fox Foundation
Serina Therapeutics, Inc.
