Wet Dogs calendar sales
Name of Event: Wet Dogs Calendars and Playing Cards + 2013 Boston Marathon
Having young onset Parkinson's disease Alyssa often feels like there is a white elephant following her around. Most people knows she has Parkinson's but no one wants to really talk about it. And, she understands. She looks okay and her symptoms are minimal. She is doing well. But the problem with Parkinson's is it is a degenerative brain disease without a cure and at some point down the road it will get worse.
Working with Michael J Fox Foundation for the past seven years we understand that raising awareness is equally important as raising funds. We are asking that you help us do both.
Donate to our Team Fox page. Any amount is appreciated, it's as easy as giving up your latte for one morning, or for the week, or even for a whole month.
If you are, or know, a dog lover, let them know about our Wet Dogs Playing Cards (The 2013 Wet Dogs calendar is SOLD OUT!). However, if card playing is your thing, then our Wet Dogs cards are still available for purchase. 52 cards, 52 adorable wet dogs.
And on April 15th I will be running in the 117th Boston Marathon. It will be my 4th Boston Marathon, 8th marathon for Team Fox and 16th marathon overall.
However you decide to get involved, as always, we greatly appreciate your kindness and support.
Not only do we appreciate your support but The Michael J. Fox Foundation is honored by your support as well. Since 2001, the Foundation has maintained an uncompromising pace , strategically targeting our resources to achieve maximum impact on patients' lives, funding work on over 100 therapeutic targets to the tune of more than $289 million to date. MJFF also understands that patients are the key to a cure and is actively engaged with the PD community. To help connect patients and their loved ones with the clinical trials that urgently need their participation, the Foundation created a Web tool, Fox Trial Finder. Whether you have PD or not, you can play a critical role in moving research forward ? create your profile now! Just go to http://www.michaeljfox.org/foxtrialfinder.cfm. It's easy to do and will go a long way to help finding a cure.
Your timing to step up for Team Fox couldn?t be better. Be a part of the answer and help us speed a cure for Parkinson?s today!
