2nd Annual Play for Parkinson's

Please join us in the fight against Parkinson's disease.

We are making a commitment to raise funds to end the suffering caused by Parkinson's disease (PD) because we have seen how the disease affects both the individual who has the disease and their families, as we have watched Barbara's father fight Parkinson's for the past 12 years.

We will be hosting Play for Parkinson's - a night of tennis, cocktails, food and fun!

When:             Saturday, March 2nd at 7:00pm

Where:           The New Canaan Racquet Club

$175 per person (suggested donation) for Tennis and Cocktail Party

$75 per person (suggested donation) for Cocktail Party only

All donations go directly to the Michael J. Fox Foundation.

Even if you aren't a tennis player, please join us for cocktails and fun.

Tennis pairings are by ability and prizes for top men and women winners!

Don't forget - a matching gift can double a donation!  Many employers provide matching programs for charitable contributions. The foundation is a 501(c) (3) non-profit, tax-exempt organization.  The tax ID number is 13-4141945.

About Parkinson's Disease:

Over five million people worldwide are living with Parkinson's disease -- a chronic degenerative neurological disorder whose symptoms typically progress from mild tremors to complete physical incapacitation. In the United States, 60,000 new cases of PD will be diagnosed this year alone. While the average age of onset is 60, an estimated 5-10% of people with PD experience onset at age 40 or younger. There is no known cure for Parkinson's disease. The Michael J. Fox Foundation is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's disease through an aggressively funded research agenda and the development of improved therapies for those living with Parkinson's today.

Thank you for your generous support as we strive together toward the finish line on the fast track to a cure.

Sincerely,

Barbara & Victor
