Dear Friends and Family,
I hope this letter finds you and your family happy and healthy. As many of you already know, the patriarch of the Sullivan/Walters family, Larry Sullivan, was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease 5 years ago this Fall. Despite the challenges of living with Parkinson's disease, he remains active and engaged in activities with his children, grandchildren, and friends.
Our family is participating in this year's Pancakes for Parkinson's in Wilmington, Delaware on September 22nd at The Sanford School. Our "Griddle Team" is named "PopPop Sullivan's Pancakes" and our goal is to raise $5,000.00 during the next few weeks. Last year, PopPop was able to shake hands and have a personal conversation with Michael J. Fox at this event. In that moment, I was able to see two amazingly strong men look each other in the eyes and share a common bond. Michael leaned in and looked at PopPop and said, "You have to keep going." It was a touching moment for our family and one that I will never forget.
Please donate in honor of "PopPop Sullivan's Pancakes." Every bit helps towards reaching our goal of $3,000.00.
On behalf of Larry, John, Kasia, Will, Casey, Erin, and my mom, Kate, we appreciate your help in reaching our goal!
