Welcome to My Personal Page
As you may know, our brother/brother in lawDanhas been fighting Parkinson?s for 11 years. He was diagnosed at the age of 38. He is giving it a great fight but it is an everyday struggle. We want to help find a cure.
As a proud member of Team Fox, We are committed to helping raise money for the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson?s Research (MJFF) to support research for new treatments for Parkinson?s patients.
This year, we are helping find a cure for Parkinson?s by participating in the 4th Annual Delaware Pancakes for Parkinson?s event atSanfordSchool. Since our first pancake breakfast three years ago, Delaware Pancakes has raised nearly $150,000, all of which went to MJFF. As the Fox Foundation nears the $300 million mark in research, we hope surpass last year?s fundraising record of $60,000 by reaching our 2012 goal of $100,000!

As members of DanSuwyn Family Griddle Team , we are hoping to earn our team a coveted griddle slot at this year?s pancake breakfast. To do that, we will need your help: between now and Saturday, September 22nd, we hope to raise $3,000 in tips for flips and that you can help us in this friendly competition by making a donation. A donation of any size is welcome, but a gift of $100 or more will entitle you to breakfast entry for two people Saturday morning. Please understand that as a team member we am not taking reservations for breakfast --- unless you donate more than $100, you will be asked to pay $10 per person at the door if you plan on joining us September 22nd for pancakes at Sanford School. This outreach is simply an effort to garner support for our bid to be on the griddle, where each pancake we make will represent a step toward finding a cure for Parkinson?s.
To make a donation online, please go to our griddle team webpage . Alternatively, you can complete the attached sponsorship form and send a check to us at3211 Coachman Road,Wilmington,DE19803]or to: Carroll Ivy Laurence,610 Westmont Drive,Wilmington,DE19808.
While vying for the griddle space is fun, it is important to stress that we are very serious about where your donations go. All Team Fox proceeds go to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson?s Research, and 88 cents of each dollar goes directly to research programs that aim to better the lives of those with Parkinson?s and, ultimately, to find a cure.
Thank you in advance for helping out. We look forward to seeing you at the griddle!
