Bob was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease 4 years ago. Once the initial shock wore off, we got busy with finding out as much as we could about it -- the illness, treatments, doctors, medications, and therapies. Bob and I travel to the University of Pennsylvania Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Center for his physician visits and treatments. Just recently, Bob finished a 4-week physical therapy program designed for people with Parkinson’s - LSVT – BIG. This program is an intensive whole body training which uses exaggerated motions so that more normal movement and a sense of balance can be reclaimed. Bob is doing all he can to fight PD. Participating in Pancakes for Parkinson’s is our family’s way of fighting the challenge of Parkinson’s along with him. Thank you for your support and friendship and any contribution you may be able to make. Hope to see you on September 21st for PANCAKES!

Five million people worldwide are living with Parkinson's disease, a chronic, degenerative neurological disorder. In the United States, 60,000 new cases will be diagnosed this year alone. There is no known cure for Parkinson's disease.
About Team Fox:
Team Fox is The Michael J. Fox Foundation's (MJFF) grassroots community fundraising program. It is made up of thousands of people worldwide who raise funds and awareness for Parkinson's disease research. All funds raised through Team Fox go directly to MJFF to further its mission to accelerate the delivery of life-changing treatments, and ultimately a cure, to people with Parkinson's disease.
Help us speed a cure for Parkinson's!
