Welcome to My Personal Page

First, thank you so much for taking the time to visit my fundraising page.  I cannot tell you how much I appreciate your support as I pursue my third New York City Marathon finish and I promise to leave it all out on the course for you.

My Cause

While in past years, I have fought through the Marathon on my own behalf, this year I will be running for a far greater cause:

Each day, five million people worldwide live with Parkinson's disease - a chronic, degenerative neurological disorder with no known cure.  Having seen the debilitating effects of Parkinson's through a very personal connection with the disease, I have decided to join Team Fox in their ultimate goal of finding a cure for it.

About Team Fox

Team Fox is The Michael J. Fox Foundation's (MJFF) grassroots community fundraising program.  It is made up of thousands of people worldwide who raise funds and awareness for Parkinson's disease research.  All funds raised through Team Fox go directly to MJFF to further its mission to accelerate the delivery of life-changing treatments, and ultimately a cure, to people with Parkinson's disease.

This means that 100% of each dollar you donate (and 100% of each mile I run) will go directly to research efforts to help speed a cure for Parkinson's, immeasurably improving the lives of millions struggling with the disease.

While I have set a personal fundraising goal for myself, I encourage you to give whatever you can - it truly does not have to be much!  Each donation, however big or small, is fully tax-deductible and comes with a handwritten thank you note from me as well as an invitation to the post-race celebration I am planning.

So please - do not wait or hesitate - donate today! Your generosity will be put to work immediately by the heroes who have dedicated their lives to finding a cure for Parkinson's disease.

In closing, thank you so much once again for your support and I hope to see you in my designated cheering section on Central Park South on Sunday, November 2nd, 2014!
