Kevin Shea's NYC Marathon Fund Raising Page for Michael J Fox Foundation

Over 2 years ago my oldest sister was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease.  She decided to fight back against this disease.  Her doctor suggested the best way to fight and work towards a cure was with the Michael J Fox Foundation.  She has raised nearly $20,000 dollars since then and will continue to raise more.

When I was accepted as a runner into the 2014 NYC Marathon I knew this was my chance to help in the fight.  If you can, please donate.  If you can't donate, please help spread the word.  If you run with me, please help me through September and October as I try to prepare for this.  On November 2, 2014 I will be "running" 26.2 miles for Team Fox.  Thanks.

Five million people worldwide are living with Parkinson's disease - a chronic, degenerative neurological disorder. In the United States, 60,000 new cases will be diagnosed this year alone. There is no known cure for Parkinson's disease.
